TDS Sim Software Updates GTNXi Suite for MSFS and X-Plane

TDS Sim Software has issued an update to their GTNXi Suite (750Xi and 650Xi) for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 & 2024 and X-Plane, bringing bug fixes, addressing a METAR server issue, and featuring internal changes for an upcoming feature.

The MSFS version has been updated to version 1.3.0.3 and addresses the METAR requests not working anymore due to a file format change, the Working Title G3X integration not sending procedure turn legs, and more. The complete changelog follows below:

  • Bug Fix: METAR not working anymore due to server file format change 
  • Bug Fix: WT G3X integration not sending procedure turn legs 
  • Bug Fix: The GTNXi Instrument Panel Self Test not synchronizing with the HSI (needle deflection) 
  • Bug Fix: Improved handling of startup/shutdown of GTNXi processes to resolve the last issues with crossfill sometimes not working and requiring a TDS GTNXi restart 
  • Internal changes for upcoming feature

Furthermore, the default Robinson R66 Turbine now features the GTN750Xi integration. 

On the other hand, the X-Plane version has been updated to version 1.0.0.7, which also fixes the METAR requests that are not working due to a file format change and a couple of bug fixes. The complete changelog follows below:

  • Bug Fix: METAR not working due to server file format change 
  • Bug Fix: Setting the glideslope flag when the respective GTNXi unit was not in GPS mode would override a valid ILS glideslope signal 
  • Bug Fix: TCAS sometimes not showing online targets to the WOW flag being incorrectly set to OnGround by the online client 
  • Bug Fix: Improved startup routine of GTNXi causing a D3D issue in X-Plane 11 using OpenGL 
  • Bug Fix: Improved handling of plugin disable event which would sometimes cause crossfill issues 
  • Internal changes for upcoming feature
