Renowned aircraft developer TorqueSim has retaken to their forums to announce the release of their anticipated X-Plane 11 updates and further outline their X-Plane 12 ambitions. Their SR20 and SR22 received the most attention in this update. 

The following updates consist of quality assurance improvements and preparations for X-Plane 12. It's imperative to mention, though, that there is no X-Plane 12 update just yet. 

SR20/22 G1000 1.3.0 Release Notes:

• "Major infrastructure refactoring in preparation for X-Plane 12, bringing over our modern fundamental function library, activation system, and anonymized statistics platform from our in-development aircraft." These changes were made in anticipation of a more stable environment in X-Plane 12.
• Improved FMOD sounds, the team reworked sound space, positioning, and engine sounds.
• Visual model overhaul, texture improvements, and fixed ripples in composite exteriors.
• General performance upgrades.

All of the above "new" features found in the SR20/22 G1000, in addition to:

• New Annunciator Panel popup window
• Improved performance of the Entegra system
• Improved engine handling
• Support for simultaneous DFC90 button press functionality for RealSimGear DFC90 hardware.
• Commercial edition owners now have customizable failures for aircraft and avionics.
