After the much hyped release of TerraMaxx, users are more delighted to see a brand new version of UrbanMaxx out, that serves as an extension to the aforementioned Seasons texture plugin. Version 3 introduces new textures, alongside support for seasons, making this the first TerraMaxx compatible product. The version is free for all and serves as a smaller module to rapidly release new updates and features.

UrbanMAXX V3 TM Edition is here and its free. With the recent release of TerraMAXX and its inherent complexity we decided that smaller modules such as UrbanMAXX V3 will be a great way to rapidly deploy upgrades and new features for our seasons package.

UrbanMAXX V3 takes advantage of the tools available to bring the seasons to your urban environment.  This go around we wanted to make a plausible impact in cities, towns and villages. UM works with your autogen scenery to make the concrete jungle look more filled in. Satellite imagery was used from the USGS seamless server.

Althought usage is limited to TerraMaxx users, it is a very nice complimentary extention to TerraMaxx, one where you can now experience the colourful Autumn and Spring to the clinical look of snowfall in Winter in developed areas.
