UK2000 Release Jersey Airport for MSFS

Entering the land of sun and sea, UK2000 have ventured into the channel islands to bring Jersey Airport to Microsoft Flight Simulator. Jersey is a popular vacation destination, for its mild climate, long beaches washed by Gulf Stream waters, and unusual hybrid "franglais" culture. Although being under the British Crown dependency, Jersey and the other Channel Islands are located closer to France as they lie 87 miles south of the UK but only 14 miles offshore of France.

Historically the airport was captured during World War two and after five years of German occupation, the island was liberated in May of 1945. 5 years later the airport was given a revamp and tarmac runway to allow jet aircraft to operate and by 1976 over 100,000 passengers were using Jersey airport to commute back to the UK.

Here is a summary of the airport’s key features:

  • Full detail Buildings
  • Realistic Ground Markings
  • Hi-Res ground image
  • UK Runway markings
  • Stunning Night Effects
  • High details Airport Vehicles
  • Excellent Frame Rates
  • Full set of signs
  • Fencing
  • GA Static Aircraft
  • Manual and Options
  • Improved runway lights
