Verticalsim Releases Freeware Waukesha KUES

The well-known scenery developer Verticalsim has just released a free rendition of Waukesha Airport (UES/KUES), Waukesha in the state of Wisconsin for X-Plane 11. The airport was developed jointly by Verticalsim and scotty-b designs.

The airport has two runways measuring 1,783 meters (5,849 feet) and 1,097 meters (3,599 feet) and has recently been integrated to the FAA’s NPIAS as a national reliever aviation facility. The airport has been used since 2008 as a base for Flight for Life, a care service that operates helicopters and fixed-wings for medical transport. In 2017, over 36,000 people visited the airport.

  • 3d grass (matched color to ortho)
  • Full gate position support (all gates are available to spawn)
  • Full WT3 and LiveTraffic support
  • Custom night lighting
  • Custom purchased 4k 0.5 res ortho imagery
  • Good/solid FPS on all systems
  • Ground objects (pushback trucks, GPU’s, Air conditioning units, etc.)
  • Compatible with VStates Wisconsin

To run the add-on you will require: 

  • X-Plane 11
  • Windows, Mac or Linux
  • 4Gb VRAM Minimum – 8Gb+ VRAM Recommended
  • SAM plugin
