Verticalsim Releases Baltimore Professional Edition for X-Plane

Continuing their expansion and upgrades within their X-Plane library, Verticalsim has released the latest generation of Baltimore International. The airport serves as a hub and focus city for many low-cost carriers such as Southwest and Spirt.

Beginning a new “Professional Edition” line for the group, the airport promises to bring users the latest technology and brings the airport up to “the current stands of Verticalsim products”.

New features brought with the new iteration include many major changes such as re-optimisation for use with Vulkan, re-engineered PBR textures, and new SAM Jetways, to match the latest standards expected of payware sceneries.

As always, Verticalsim has continued to produce high-quality scenery and ortho packs, primarily for the Northern America region. Latest previous projects from the developer include the announcement of Omaha International for X-Plane and the release of the latest interaction of the extremely popular VOrthos VStates series. The latest state included in the lineup is Nevada, presenting a unique challenge with the large area around Area 51 being completely blank in US national ortho imagery. Find out more about the VOrthos project on the Verticalsim website.
