Pilots based in Tel Aviv are in for a great time with a new airport rendition of Ben Gurion Airport! Dolev Ravid, director of VATSIM Israel has given us the honour to exclusively publish the link to their scenery. Originally developed by the IXPT team for X-Plane 10, IXPT has since dissolved as members of the team travelled overseas to study Aviation, but the members has given the VATSIM division the rights to continually update the work to keep up with current upgrades in the real airport.

Ben Gurion is the main international airport of Israel, known for its experience and high security, the airport has gone through several expansions to accomodate more traffic. As of recently, the airport unveiled major expansion plans to expand Terminal 1, a new Domestic terminal, new freight facilities and more..

It will be interesting to see how the completed airport project will render in-sim once VATIL comes to finish updating their scenery witht he latest additions.

The updated airport implements new extensions and was done by the Israeli community. New aprons like G, H, X, EH and K was added to the scenery, alongside with two new taxiways being fixed, added or rebuilt. With these new additions, the scenery is now up to date with real life.
