Windsock Simulations Release Ben Gurion International Airport For X-Plane

Windsock Simulations have released Ben Gurion International Airport (Tel Aviv Airport) for X-Plane 11. The largest and the busiest international airport in Israel offers tourists to enter Israel and citizens to fly across the globe. The airport is located on the northern outskirts of the city of Lod, about 20 km southeast of Tel Aviv.

The airport features an accurate rendition of old terminal 1, which is used by most of the European low-cost airlines, and also the new Terminal 3 which is used mainly by EL AL but is also the hub for international airlines. Accurate terminals work perfectly with Detailed Animated Jetways, Windsock simulations have utilised the SAM plug-in to bring the animations needed on the jetways.

Features included in Windsock Simulations Ben Gurion International Airport :

  • Dynamic Lighting
  • Detailed animated jetway models (using SAM plug-in)
  • Detailed ground markings
  • High resolution (7cm-30cm pixel) photoreal ground textures
