Eagle Dynamics have just released previews of WWII Pacific aircraft, sceneries, and aircraft carriers. Along with European WWII maps and aircraft, ED is working on both theaters in parallel. The Pacific will bring the Marianas from the 1940s, new AI aircraft, naval units, and ground units. 

The USS Enterprise CV-6, commonly known as “The Big E”, one of the most famous aircraft carriers of all time will also be featured in the upcoming update. 

Along with the USS Enterprise, the Pacific WWII update will feature the F6F Hellcat and B-17 Stratofortress. The Hellcat - one of the best fighter planes in World War II, with a kill-to-loss ratio of 19:1, is currently having its external details polished with various liveries, along with flight model development.

Last but not least - the Marianas WWII map will be a free addition to DCS! The development team has made great progress and has shared a couple of previews.
