JRollon's SF-260D natively features REP by SimCoders

SimCoders and JRollon have been busy working alongside each other for several months on the SIAI-Marchetti SF-260D. The aircraft will natively feature SimCoder's Reality Expansion Pack (REP), and should be available before the end of the year!

The REP for the SF-260D will contain existing all the existing features in previous REPs such as pre/post-flight checks, towing, wearing and maintenance. Also, the flight model is custom-made with high attention to detail.

Like previous V3.0 releases, SimCoders have opted to use their own custom sound engine to deliver an immersive experience, including canopy muffling and wind effects.

This will be the first REP to feature a carburettor engine, with an icing algorithm to complement. It will be 100% custom to match real-world performance data.

The electrical system is also completely custom and has all the circuit breakers modelled, as well as an emergency battery and avionics system.

Additionally, the radios have been modelled to such a high standard, SimCoders stated you can use real world manuals for the following:

  • KX165A Com/Nav Radio
  • KR87 ADF Receiver
  • KFC225 Autopilot
  • GTX-330 Transponder

Prior to today's announcement, SimCoders teased with some previews from the Pilot Operating Handbook of this REP on their Facebook:
