Aerobask Shares Falcon 8X Video

In the first major news on the project since September 2020, Skunkcrafts, who are working in partnership with Aerobask on the group's Falcon 8X have shared a new video of the aircraft.

The video showcases the 8X in-simulator and with what appears to be a complete set of avionics, including synthetic vision - on the Falcon 8X, it is called 'FalconEye' - on the primary flight display and a moving map on the navigation display.

A heads-up display is also included with the aircraft and includes a feature which highlights the outline of the runway which the aircraft is approaching.

It also appears to bask the nearby mountains in a familiar night vision green - both of which are features in Dassault's FalconEye suite.

No sound accompanies the video, so it is not clear what the progress on this part of the aircraft is like at this time.

The Falcon 8X as shown in a preview in May 2019.

The one and a half minute approach video does not show many of the systems - simply that they are working - so to learn more about the Falcon 8X's avionics set-up, see the group's previous preview of the aircraft for more.
