In another relatively brief Facebook post, Carenado has announced the G1000 variant of the C208B Grand Caravan EX.

The announcement included seven screenshots, but none of them displayed the G1000 avionics suite.

The EX variant differs to that of the standard C208B Grand Caravan with the addition of a more powerful Pratt and Witney PT6A-140.

Despite an extra increase in weight and reduction in range, climb performance and cruise speed are increased.

Cessna has sold more than 500 C208B EXs since its certification at the end of 2012.
