Departure Designs Announces St. Thomas International (TIST) & New Orleans International (KMSY)

Renditions of two international airports have been announced by Departure Designs: Cyril E. King Airport, St. Thomas (TIST), and Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (KMSY).

TIST is the busiest airport in the United States Virgin Islands, with airlines including American Airlines, Delta Air Lines and JetBlue. Announced on Facebook and with further information on the forum thread, TIST is to feature:

  • Perfectly placed buildings on the entire island
  • PBR on all Airport surfaces and Buildings
  • Precise tree lines on the entire island and surrounding islands
  • Baked ambient occlusion
  • High resolution custom mesh

In addition to TIST, KMSY was also announced. Located in New Orleans, the airport has seen passenger growth year-on-year for twelve consecutive years, with more than thirteen-million passing through last year.

Also announced on Facebook and with further information on the forum thread, KMSY will contain:

  • New 2020 Layout
  • PBR on all Airport surfaces and Buildings
  • baked ambient occlusion
  • Custom HDR Lights
  • Custom Jetways
