Back in January, FLYT Simulations announced the development of Champaign-Urbana. The progress of 3D modelling was shared, as well as the then-current status of the project.

Today however, the developer shared additional previews, through an exclusive entry at fselite.net:

As seen above, the previews this time round contain lots of ground texture work. The buildings will be textured after autogen issues are fixed, and FLYT will look to adding static aircraft, more airport objects and other things. As of present, the team are finishing points of interest, including the Carle Foundation Hospital.

The scenery is to include a rendition of the city scene of Champaign-Urbana, a city in Illinois in the United States of America, as well as the University of Illinois Willard Airport (KCMI) and Frasca City (C16) airfield.

FLYT Simulations' current projects can be viewed on their website here. Optionally, follow the developer on their Facebook page here.
