FlyTampa Releases Heraklion (LGIR)

The latest scenery from FlyTampa has been released for X-Plane. Heraklion International Airport (LGIR) is located on the island of Crete in Greece and is the country's second-busiest airport after Athens.

The release of LGIR was delayed because its developer, Flight Sim Development Group (FSDG), moved to FlyTampa and wanted to use features of Thessaloniki to improve its quality.

Its feature list on the product page is as follows:

  • Complete city add-on with custom mesh, vegetation and lighting
  • Full city coverage with custom buildings and landmarks
  • Sloped airport terrain
  • Animated apron vehicles and road traffic
  • PBR materials

The airport is available for US $22.00. You can find its product page on the developer's website.

FlyTampa is also bringing Copenhagen, Amsterdam, and Las Vegas to X-Plane 11. More details here.
