MK-Studios Releases Helsinki Airport for MSFS

Shortly following on from their recent release of Rovaniemi Airport and at the time of winter operations approaching Christmas, MK-Studios has now dropped their realistic rendering of Helsinki International Airport, the capital of Santa's country, Finland. The scenario delivers a well rounded replica that features high-quality satellite imagery, custom terraforming with accurate runway slope profile, and a detailed terrain mesh.

The developer advertises that Helsinki Airport features highly detailed terminal models and textures, custom night lighting, terminal interiors, and an accurate runway profile. The terminal complex comes with a simple interior for added depth and the surroundings are faithfully recreated.

The namesake airport services the capital city of Finland, and is situated in Vantaa, 10 miles north of Helsinki’s city center. It is a major Nordic hub, being the busiest in Finland and the fourth busiest in the Nordic countries regarding the number of passengers. About 90% of Finland's international air traffic passes through Helsinki Airport. The airport handled 21.8 million passengers in 2019, including 18.9 million international passengers and 2.9 million domestic passengers. On average, the airport receives around 350 departures per day.

MK-Studios’ Helsinki for MSFS can now be purchased for AUD $22.95 on Orbx Direct.
