iniSimulations Teases Pratt & Whitney Engines on A300-600R(F)

iniBuilds' MJ has dropped a single preview of the group's new A300-600R(F) package on the development thread for the aircraft, confirming that Pratt & Whitney engines will be an option once the payware project is released.

Electrical systems were previewed in a previous development update.

It's been a little over a week since the last previews of the original Airbus surfaced, in which the developer commented to Threshold that:

"What you are seeing are screenshots from our testing team that show the current state of the aircraft. We are working tremendously hard and a lot of work is going on in the background from all perspectives.

"...we hope to provide a more extensive detailed update soon, where we will outline our progress to date and share some key features of the product.”

The A300-600 uses either twin General Electric CF6-80 or Pratt & Whitney PW4000 turbofan engines, with the former appearing to be the more popular choice among airlines.

X-Plane.org Forum user Roger39 initially undertook the project back in 2017, with only a few screenshots of the A300's exterior model.

June 2019 marked the last time the aircraft was previewed as a standalone venture, with iniBuilds' iniSimulations venture picking up the project in the months that followed. It has since joined the group's On the Line series of aircraft, of which an A380 project is already a part. Learn more about the A380 in a previous article.
