JARDesign Shows Off A320 EFB Previews

JARDesign’s Andrey Belov has posted in-simulator previews of an upcoming update for their A320neo featuring an EFB (Electronic Flight Bag) to Facebook, following a period of silence on the Airbus front - the group instead opting to update addons such as Ground Handling Deluxe and Follow Me Car this month.

The EFB gives the user the ability to manipulate the aircraft’s built-in ground handling trucks, Folko’s AviTab map, in addition to its own built-in charts.

The JARDesign A320 was originally released in 2014 and is currently in version V3.4R3. Being one of the oldest addons kept current, the developers have continued to build on it through the years, the most recent update of which dealt to an error with Gizmo on the plane's DCDU metar reader.

One of the latest status updates from JARDesign on their A320 came back in August when they showed off 'photogrammetric' renders of overhauled cockpit models. You can learn more about the heralded technology here, in addition to more previews.
