JARDesign Issues Two v4.3 RCs for Their Airbus A330

Shortly after Laminar has shown off more details on the upcoming default A330 for the succesor version of X-Plane 11, JAR Design Group followed by releasing an update for their Airbus A330 aircraft; v4.3R1, which was released yesterday, and v4.3R2 which was released today. These updates are minor bug fixes and improvements to the aircraft. The team is known for its many products in the X-Plane 11 Community such as Ground Handling, and most recently, the Airbus A340 which was just released back in late July of this year.

A couple of issues concerning compatibility with the weather plugin xEnviro is fixed, and modern neccesities of the virtual flightdeck such as Avitab integration is implemented. Apart from that, the update focuses mostly on the improving the PFD displays and a couple of bug fixes around the cockpit. The v4.3R2 that was published yesterday includes external animation improvements to the spoilers and some sound issues fixed.

The full list of fixes and improvements are listed below:

v4.3R1:

- xEnviro issue fixed

- Avitab tablet add (switchable) 

- PFD indication improved

- MAX and OPT FL calculation improved

- Window and display reflection options add 

- OXY indication fixed 

- OVH radio panel switch fixed 

- 2D displays widget add (work in cockpit only) 

- Flaps relief indication fixed + FCU lit indication fixed 

- FCU knobs reworked + mouse wheel manipulators add for most of switches

v4.3R2:

- Spoilers animation fixed

- Firetest sound issue fixed

- W&C system sound fixed

Along with these updates, JAR Design has announced that they are moving their codebase away from SASL reliance onto another platform called VA,

“With version 4.3 we start to move JD330 from SASL to VA platform and this is first step.”

v4.3 is the next major update coming to this aircraft and will be up to speed with the developers latest aircraft the Airbus A340 which we covered when it was released.
