The renowned mountain park developers Frank Dainese and Fabio Bellini have just released their latest mesh pack for X-Plane 11, a rendition of K2 and Karakorum.

K2 is the world’s second-highest mountain peak after Mount Everest with an elevation of 8,611 meters. Located on the Chinese-Pakistani border, the summit was first reached in 1954 by two Italian pioneers.

Karakorum was the capital of the Mongol Empire between 1235 and 1260. The ancient city is now full of relics, temples and monasteries.

The scenery includes over 2000 square kilometres of terrain and the 7 main peaks of the region are built in 3D and feature 4K textures. The scenery also includes airstrips and camps.

K2 - Karakorum UHD for X-Plane 11 is now available on the X-Plane.org Store for $22.95. Check out the release announcement on the developer’s website.
