Gaya Simulations Announces Weekend Launch for Kos

The team at Gaya Simulations keep the spotlight going into the weekend by announcing their latest scenery, Kos Airport, will be releasing over the next couple of days.

Kos' newest entry in the flight simulator space shot to fame in December 2019 after the developer announced it will be giving away free copies of the scenery for X-Plane 11 and Prepar3D to anyone who signed up on the group's website over a period of seven days.

In a new email sent to giveaway entrants, the developer establishes this weekend as the release window for the scenery, which began development in the third quarter of 2019.

Going on to explain how the giveaway will work, the email says "There are a few ground rules around the giveaway to get through first, though."

"This email has two coupon codes attached, one for [Kos'] Prepar3D version and one for X-Plane 11 version of the scenery.

"You can't use either of the codes just yet - only once the scenery is released will they become active (you'll get another email when each releases to inform you). The Prepar3D version will release first, with X-Plane a bit later on.

"Starting when you get the release email, you will have 24 hours to log on to the Gaya Simulations website and input the coupon code before it expires.

"This does not mean you only have 24 hours to download the scenery (note: you also get unlimited downloads too), you just have to have the coupon tied to your account within 24 hours. This can be done on the go via mobile or of course your main flight sim computer."

Further on, it is made clear that the same process will repeat for the X-Plane 11 version of the scenery, which will be releasing 24 hours after the Prepar3D copy.

Speaking on Facebook now, the team says the airport is undergoing "final touch-ups in preparation for release".

Gaya Simulations' Kos Airport and Island will be sold through OrbxDirect, a partnership which was announced only a few days ago.
