Imminent: Descend2View's Chios out on 1st July

Time to pack your bags and revisit Greece, because we'll be having another beautiful recreation of a Greek Airport very soon! New and upcoming Greek-based developer Descent2View has developed faithful rendition of the main airport serving the island of Chios, the fifth largest island in the Hellenic Republic. Painstakingly recreated, Chios Island National Airport is also known as Chios National Airport, located in "Omiros" which sits in the region of Kampos, south of the city of Chios itself.

We've covered their first product development multiple times before, such as when they've posted the final batch of images, and it seems that they're wrapping up the final details for release very soon! We've received news that the airport will be released on the 1st of July at the Threshold Store.

The Scenery covers both the Airport and the surrounding area. Over ~800 custom buildings are hand placed, brought to life with custom animation vehicles. Custom groundwork is featured with full PBR material, covering a 20 km surround of the airport with zoom levels of 20 pixels per centimeter, 3D night lighting, and custom taxiways and runway, as custom runway lights.

For its initial release, the scenery unfortunately does not cover the city of Chios, but the developers plan to recreate the entire city sometime in the next update.

We'll be updating this news entry for new information when it comes. Here are some exclusive shots to enjoy:
