Maps2XPlane Previews Seychelles4XPlane

Maps2XPlane's latest scenery in partnership with SpainUHD developer Alfred Rafols was determined to be the Seychelles Islands back in September, and since then it appears the co-operation has been working at full speed, with a new update landing on the developer blog today.

In today's update, Maps2XPlane developers talk details in the new scenery, which now encompasses all 115 islands in the Seychelles archipelago.

"Our Seychelles scenery package for the flight simulator X-Plane will be shipped with a custom terrain mesh, which features the entire 115-island archipelago in the Indian Ocean, and will be covered with a generic, photo-realistic texture set – not only for the land, but also the sea!

"The custom terrain mesh will be complemented with custom overlays to achieve a realistic rendition of the granitic islands of the Seychelles and their dense tropical vegetation. You can look forward to absolutely stunning views, when you explore the extensive Seychelles4XPlane scenery package."

Also teased in the blog post were the custom road/sea traffic networks and of course the two major airports - Seychelles International and Praslin Regional - as well as an assortment of other airstrips and helipads. These will be previewed in later updates.

You can see the source post on the Maps2XPlane blog - alternatively, see the scenery's announcement post here.
