Orbx expands both their Developer roster as well as their freeware collection for X-Plane 11 with the release of Clench Common Field (EG20) by Sandro De Sarro, just south-east of Marlborough, Wiltshire, England.

Clench Common is home to Microlights, Gyrocopters, as well as Light Aircraft. The two grass runways, 07/25 and 15/33 are recreated to highlight the challenges each runway presents including sloping runways, tall trees, powerlines and wind-based runway choices. The field is designed to work seamlessly with TrueEarth Great Britain South as well.

You can see the high level of additional detailing done to recreate the field in the images below.

Additionally, you may read our summary of Orbx news from Flight Sim Show at Cosford. This year, they announced several projects in the works for both the UK and the US, including Edinburgh, TrueEarth US Northern California and more.

You can pick up the freeware XP11 scenery via Orbx Direct, free of charge. Be sure to follow the developer on their social media channels.
