Pilot Plus Releases Wycombe Air Park for Microsoft Flight Simulator

Seeing it's first entry in the flight sim space in February 2020 with a release for X-Plane 11, Wycombe Air Park has now made the jump to Microsoft Flight Simulator courtesy of Pilot Plus.

That's not to say Wycombe is a straight conversion from Laminar's sim, rather, the developer says that the scenery is 'native to MSFS'.

"Wycombe Air Park features full PBR and ultra-realistic texturing. The airfield has been modelled in extreme detail, there is something new to discover around every corner," the developer says.

"We've studied the airfield and captured the unique atmosphere, you'll even see rain drops on the tower glass - classic British weather!"

The provided feature list goes as follows:

  • A unique and charming countryside atmosphere with highly detailed 3D modelling
  • Full PBR Air park, including apron assets, buildings and ground
  • Highly detailed hand painted environment (5cm per pixel)
  • Dynamic rain on the control tower glass
  • Includes local VFR landmarks used when flying (Stadium, Golden Ball Church, Stokenchurch mast etc..)
  • Hand coloured aerial imagery covering the airfield and surroundings (up to 12.5cm per pixel)

Pilot Plus' first Microsoft Flight Simulator scenery comes with a 25% discount for owners of the product in Prepar3D and X-Plane via OrbxDirect.

Customers who bought from the group's own online store can upgrade from the 1st of October, when Wycombe debuts on that store.

Purchase PilotPlus' Wycombe Air Park for Microsoft Flight Simulator on OrbxDirect now, for $18.99 AUD.
