PMDG Let Slip 737NG3 Release Date

Earlier this week, during an interview with SkyBlue Radio, PMDG developer Robert Randazzo revealed that their much anticipated Boeing 737 for Microsoft Flight Simulator will be released in early 2022. This surprise announcement is one of the first quantitative time frames PMDG has provided in regard to their first modern airliner product for MSFS. Along with the podcast interview, the team has published a single preview image of their 737-700 NG3 cruising above the clouds.

In the interview that took place last Sunday, after discussing his career and lifelong interest in aviation, Randazzo stated that the PMDG 737 will be released around late January 2022. According to him, the aircraft will be one of the most high quality add-ons for the simulator, which promises to stun users with its stunning details. In addition, Randazzo also revealed that we will be surprised by the “water line retreat” of the product pricing, delivering a combination of quality and affordability to the community.

Finally, Randazzo teases that after releasing its 737 and 777 for MSFS, PMDG will likely focus on a “dual platform project”. His full statement on this matter can be found on Sky Blue Radio. Currently, no definitive release date or pricing have been announced. We will keep you updated on this front. For more information on the PMDG 737, check out another Threshold article.
