ShortFinal Design has published more screenshots of Global. In the latest Facebook post, the developer stated:

"A closer look at some of the new terrain textures for SFD Global. Since there's been some confusion, I want to clarify that the terrain textures are independent of the autogen and work globally. They are not limited to individual regions."
