Maxx-XP, the developer of SkyMaxx Pro, has published a series of new previews showing an upcoming update to the plugin.

Version 4.9.3 is to be available soon, and will focus on lighting adjustments and bug fixes. The update will add on to 4.9.0 that was released last month, containing support for the Vulkan API.

"A few shots from SMP 4.9.3 soon to be available with bug fixes and a nice set of lighting tweaks," the developer wrote on their Facebook page.

The release of 4.9.0 last month marked one of the first addons to add experimental compatibility with the then-brand new X-Plane 11.50 beta, thus Vulkan (yet not Metal at the time, macOS' equivalent). The changes included adjusting default cloud scatter percentages, the addition of a new "force reload" menu option, more accurate conditions when using SkyMaxx's sister addon Real Weather Connector and more.
