SSG Begins Work on System Displays in CRJ-700

February 3, 2020

In a Facebook post, Supercritical Simulations Group (SSG) has announced work on the avionics displays in the cockpit of their in-development CRJ-700 has begun.

In the post, Andrzej Borysewicz, one of the developers from SSG, said "We are pleased to say that the displays SASL etc. on CRJ-700 just started.

"What you see on displays now are mockups for work on it but it will be all in color and "alive".

"NO, we do not have ETA, lol, lol, lol."

A progress report was released back in October, when the developer was working on click regions in the flight deck.

Of course, the CRJ-700 is not the only aircraft project SSG is working on.

Their E-Jets were recently updated to V1.4, which included independent MCDUs and better frame rates.

Additionally, the 747-8i V2 received an update not too long ago, with small changes in the cockpit.

Perhaps the most interesting news from the developer came a week ago, when SSG appeared to confirm the development of Embraer E-Jet E2 aircraft.
