The first post-release patch for TorqueSim's BN-2 Islander is here, quick to address concerns raised by early adopters.

The developer prefaced the update saying that v1.0.1 was not intended to add major features or make vast changes to the aircraft which released only three days ago, rather, "quality and functionality" was at the forefront.

Reworking portions of the FMOD sound system is the largest change in v1.0.1, as a much more realistic "roaring" effect is produced when advancing the throttle on the Islander according to the blog post which accompanied the update.

Another requested addition was to have a Photoshop file available as an alternative to the initial Substance Painter paintkit - this has now been added. Additionally, lighting in the passenger cabin has been tweaked and the headset clickspot has been made easier to locate.
