The Almuntassir brothers are once again hard at work on the next iteration of Ultra Weather XP, their environment plugin which last saw an update in April 2019.

Version 2.6 had a shaky start in August this year, with fans dismayed with the appearance of clouds in the early development editions. This appears to be rectified though, with new previews surfacing today in addition to the clause that 2.6 will focus on improving sky colours.

In a post on their private Facebook group, head developer Abdullah Almuntassir shows off some of the new cloud textures to be included in the update.

Abdullah has indicated that release will come as soon as possible, though there is no date in mind just yet.
