xEnviro, a popular atmospherics and weather plugin for X-Plane 11 known for being the first in X-Plane to bring fully volumetric clouds to the simulator, has been updated to version 1.16 by Darkspace.

Version 1.16 of xEnviro builds upon 1.15, which previously added support for Vulkan to the addon. Unlike its previous updates, 1.16 doesn’t bring any new features to the plugin, with 1.16 being dubbed as a hotfix.

Although, according to the roadmap, xEnviro 1.16 was planned to include the addition of “Spherical buffer,” however, the plugin was in need of an urgent update after users reported bugs that stopped the addon from correctly working with the new 11.51 update on Vulkan.
