Aerobask Shows Off Falcon 8X Avionics Teaser

After taking a short break to focus on another project, the Lancair Legacy RG, Aerobask's Yoyoz has returned bearing a new preview of the group's most anticipated aircraft ever, the Dassault Falcon 8X.

Announced back in March 2019, the Falcon 8X blazed a new trail when it was revealed the developer had the cooperation of the real-world manufacturer of the aircraft, Dassault Aviation. This means the model will be officially licensed and under the supervision of Dassault during development.

Today's new teaser.

Posting on the X-Plane.org Forum, the developer showcased a new teaser of the Auto-speeds page in the Falcon 8X's avionics. Captioning the image, he says magenta stands for the active phase, "boxed" means user-modifiable values, 'lit' means the mouse wheel is active, green indicates the default values and white denotes modified values.

He says that "some [figures] are saved between flights, some are restored each time."

A potential cause for the apparent lack of updates on the Falcon 8X - besides a general lack of sharable progress whilst coding - is due to their other ongoing aircraft project, the Lancair Legacy RG. Taken over from the Skunkcrafts development team, the Legacy RG saw it's last previews published back in April, with the developer sharing images exclusively to Threshold readers.
