Aerosoft Shares New A340-600 Screenshots for MSFS 2020/2024

Aerosoft has shared new screenshots of their A340-600 Pro for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020/2024, developed in conjunction with ToLiss, a renowned X-Plane add-on developer with a vast lineup of high-fidelity Airbus aircraft.

Formerly the world’s longest commercial aircraft (up until the arrival of the Boeing 747-800), the A340-600 was designed to compete with early jumbo jets that were getting phased out at the time due to their age, offering the same four engines and similar passenger carrying capabilities, but boasting full fly-by-wire technology. While the range was nothing short of impressive, and the flying experience was smooth and comfortable, the timing was far from perfect, since the early 2000s also brought a beefy long-haul widebody with two engines, the 777-300ER, which was fairly cheaper to operate and ended up being the airplane of choice for many operators around the globe.

Aerosoft says things are “moving quickly” with the project and that the upcoming week will be very exciting for everyone waiting for the product. The riddle they teased recently will be solved, and they can’t wait to share what they have been working on.

Furthermore, they shared a fresh batch of screenshots that show a bit more of the A340-600's interior and exterior.

There’s still no information about the pricing or the eventual release date, but Threshold will keep you updated!
