CSS Provide Blog Update on 737 Classic V2
Development group CSS Simulations early this year provided an in depth look at their upcoming 737 Classic V2 update which will further enhance the aircraft.
The development of V2 is built around improving visual and systems quality along with bringing new features and further refinements.
CSS have stated that the V2 build is designed around community feedback and they are actively engaging with the community to provide a fantastic rendition of the “Classic”
In regards to the interior they have stated:
“Our team is focusing on reworking the cockpit from scratch to achieve an incredible level of detail, the results of which can be seen on these (below) renders of the new pedestal. Do keep in mind that this is all work in progress - what lies ahead is the intricate task of detailing and optimization. Some of the models shown will serve as a high-poly base for baking textures onto more lightweight models, which will ensure stunning visuals without a significant performance hit.The area under the panels also still needs some work, e.g. adding seams, adjusting bolt heights and sizes and so on. Nonetheless, we couldn't wait to show you the level of detail you'll be seeing in V2!”

The exterior is also set to receive a big overhaul including enhancements:
- Kruger flaps
- Trailing edge flaps
- Wingtips and wings
- Nose
- Wingbox

They have also stated that the -300 and -400 variants are almost ready to be released in their V1 configuration.
