For many flight simulation enthusiasts, the primary reason for not purchasing Orbx products is the lack of PayPal support, either resulting in higher transaction fees or being unable to purchase products altogether.

This has now changed as Orbx Central has received a beta update that adds PayPal as a payment option.

Beta updates of Orbx Central are better known as Fastlane, which allows users to opt-in to receive features prior to their official roll-out.

Orbx notes: "Fastlane builds of Central may be less stable. If Central is mission-critical for you, we recommend that you do no tenable Fastlane."

As such, some users considering Fastlane may want to hold off until PayPal support is pushed to all users.

Users desperate to get their hands on the scenery they have always wanted, however, can now do so in five steps:

1. Open/download the Orbx Central application and sign in
2. Navigate to the application's settings, and click on My Account
3. Click Opt-in in the Fastlane section
4. Restart the application to receive the update
5. Add products to cart, and select PayPal upon checkout

In addition to the new payment method, support for Prepar3D V5 (releasing today), a new cart and checkout design, minor adjustments to the home page design, and wrapping issues on navbar are addressed in version 4.1.5.

Recent products released through include the Welsh airport Caernarfon, and Gaya Simulations' Vienna Airport.
