Orbx's Next UK Airport: Goodwood (EGHR)
Goodwood is the first scenery Obrx released for England for the ESP platform, and rightfully so: It's the local airfield of Orbx's CEO, John Venema. Today, they announced its conversion to X-Plane on their forum.
The airport also houses a racing circuit like a few other airfields in the UK. Nearly all objects have been modelled and textured with real photos to create the best representation of the airport. The airfield will include:
- 15/60 cm ground imagery
- Static aircraft and cars
- Animated Ferraris racing
- Varied vegetation
- Includes Goodwood House
- Includes Goodwood racecourse
- Animated clocks
- Photographed on site
- Matched to TrueEarth GB
TrueEarth GB South is not required to utilise this scenery, but is highly recommended. The airport will be available for purchase for AUD $32.95 (approximately USD $24.35 / €21 / GBP £18.50).
