AOA Simulations Release their RV-8

AOA Simulations have released their latest aircraft for X-Plane 11 - that of the Van's RV-8. News of its release was announced yesterday, and also includes a tricycle variant (the RV-8A) along with the original configuration.

Here's the feature list of AOA's latest planes:

  • FMOD Sounds
  • Ground equipment
  • Animated pilot
  • Dynamic pilot POV camera options (non VR mode)
  • Automatic AI plane tracking pilot POV camera capability (non VR mode)

The developer apologised for the delay in release, after previously announcing it would release yesterday.

You have the choice of purchasing a taildragger RV-8 or the tricycle gear variant for $24.00USD each, with a bundle pack being sold at $32.00USD here.

Also announced by the same developer a few days ago, is the Boeing/Saab T-X. More information and work in progress render here.
