Experimental aircraft developer VSkyLabs has announced that another helicopter will be joining their fleet towards the end of this year. The Cicaré 8 is produced by Argentinian firm Circaré S. A. in Buenos Aires, and is the latest in VSkyLabs' recent turn towards helicopter development.

The announcement came via the VSkyLabs Facebook page a few hours ago:

"Exciting news!!! A new VSKYLABS Helicopter project announcement! The Cicare 8. The VSKYLABS Cicare 8 Project development for X-Plane flight simulator was approved by Cicare. However it is an independent VSKYLABS project which is not affiliated and/or endorsed by Cicare."

In terms of development timelines, the developer predicts completion will aimed at a late 2019/early 2020 release, but is obviously subject to change.

A product page for the aircraft will be set up on the VSkyLabs website in the next few weeks.
