Dreamflight Studios Releases McClellan-Palomar airport

Clean and sharp, high fidelity texturing, is what many have come to expect of Dreamflight Studios. Their newest release for MSFS appears to be nothing short of that standard.

McClellan-Palomar airport is located three miles SouthEast of Carlsbad San Diego and is a diverse airport, serving both the everyday general aviation “junkie”, as well as the more sophisticated corporate aviation aircraft. For those who have been hoping around the world in the WorkingTitle CL4, this is certainly a place to mention to your dispatcher.

One will notice by the images above, the developers have been extremely precise and meticulous in crafting this product. It is this type of care and attention to detail that ultimately creates the all important airside atmosphere, a prerequisite we all have when purchasing scenery.

The product’s feature list does consists of a number of staple elements we expect from payware sceneries, however there are a couple of surprises in there, check it out:

  • Full PBR and HD textures
  • 4K textures
  •  Accurate building models/textures
  • Static Aircraft with PBR
  • Custom wig wag lights
  • Custom Ground Vehicles
  • Custom clutter objects
  • Custom taxiway signs
  • Realistic night lighting
  • Highly optimized

We must highlight the fact that the developers have gone as far as to ensure the static aircraft include PBR; this is something we don't see very often, and is certainly a minor yet major detail to be admired.

Dreamflight Studios claim this product is “the most accurate representation to date”. It's too early for us to tell if it lives up to this claim or not, however based on the provided images and their clean reputation, we wouldn't be surprised to hear the community loves it.

The product is priced at a fair €12.99 (excluding taxes), you can further examine the scenery and purchase your own copy on simMarket.
