Annotations and Scratchpads Released for Navigraph Charts
Navigraph has released both annotations and scratchpads to their charts application, marking a significant quality of life upgrade.
With annotations, users can now draw directly on Jeppesen charts and SimBrief operational flight plans. The application supports freehand drawings, as well as simple shapes, to help in highlighting essential information on charts for your flights.
Annotations
- Draw taxi routes and expected runway exits
- Highlight hotspots, frequencies, and procedures
- Mark key waypoints, times, and fuel figures
- Track progress directly on charts and flight plans

The scratchpad works completely within the app as well, allowing users to copy clearances, holding instructions, ATIS data, pireps, and more. This is super useful as you do not need to switch apps or use paper to write instructions now, as it can all be done within the app.
Scratchpad
- Record ATIS and clearance details using structured CRAFT templates
- Log takeoff and landing data with built-in TOLD cards
- Capture PIREPs and holding instructions in realistic formats
- Write or type notes directly alongside your charts
- Keep critical information visible during high workload phases

The update is out now to all Navigraph Unlimited subscribers. To view more information, check out the original post on the Navigraph website.
