iBlueYonder's Bill Womack has shared some information on their headline project for Microsoft Flight Simulator: Portland International Airport (KPDX), which is being developed in partnership with Flightbeam.

The developer had previously confirmed their intentions for the simulator in a short social media post from July.

"We're so happy to announce the upcoming release of our first product for Microsoft Flight Simulator - KPDX Portland International Airport!"

"As with the previous versions for P3D and X-Plane, we'll be releasing it in conjunction with our partners at Flightbeam."

A select few preview screenshots were included with the announcement post, 'to whet your appetite', according to Womack. These have been included in the article.

Speaking about a possible release window, the developer has set a soft date of this coming weekend - or at least that is what's 'planned'. It's not clear whether discounts will be available for upgrading customers from X-Plane 11 and Prepar3D.

The scenery will be available on Flightbeam's webstore upon release.
