MK-Studios to Port All Airports to Microsoft Flight Simulator

International developer MK-Studios has laid out their intentions for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, which entails the conversion of all of their airports to the new simulator.

This, much like UK2000's announcement from earlier today, hinges entirely on the release date of a fully functional SDK - something that doesn't appear to have happened as yet, judging from the developer's tone.

"We're looking forward to bring all of our add-ons to MSFS2020. This will definitely take some time as we're waiting (as many developers) for a completed SDK version."

The developer remains on track in terms of their other two projects for Prepar3D, those being Rome and Helsinki Airports, whilst updates are being prepared for their Tenerife Volume 1 and 2 products.

There's no word on any projects for X-Plane as yet, nor whether they will continue using X-Plane conversion developers such as Windsock Simulations to publish sceneries for Laminar's sim.

"We'll then continue to improve the existing products - as usual."

MK-Studios are the latest in a string of three major developers to make announcements following the unveiling of Flight Simulator 2020's release date, which is set for August 18.

Notable multiplatform developer Gaya Simulations spoke out about Microsoft Flight Simulator yesterday.

Orbx were the first to pounce, on the night of the news, whilst Gaya Simulations and UK2000 followed close behind.
