Thranda Design developer NoJoe has posted new previews of their upcoming Pilatus PC-6 Porter for X-Plane 11 on the PC-6’s development X-Plane.org Forum thread.

The Pilatus PC-6 is a Swiss-made single-engine utility plane designed in the late 50’. It is known worldwide for its extraordinary short takeoff and landing performance as well as its outstanding reliability. After producing more than 600 airframes in both turboprop and piston versions, it was announced that Pilatus would end production of the iconic aeroplane in 2019. The aircraft is still used all over the world for civilian and military applications for which a special version was developed for the United States Air Force by Fairchild, the AU-23 Peacemaker.

Posted in the What Plane Did You Fly Today X-Plane.org thread. Two in-sim exterior screenshots of the Porter flying in a mountainous area wearing the Thranda Design livery.

Additionally, Thranda Design also published an interior screenshot of the PC-6 where a first-aid kit can be seen.

In December 2018, new interior and exterior previews were posted by Dan Klaue, check our coverage out
