Whiskey Jet Simulations Previews A220 Engine and Wing Animations

In a 5 minute video on the developer’s Facebook page, Whiskey Jet has provided users with a video showcasing the A220 in Microsoft Flight Simulator, along with its engines and wings in all stages of flight.

On its first flight back in 2013, the aircraft was known as the “C-Series” and was manufactured by Bombardier. Following the 7 years since that time, the aircraft has gone through multiple changes marketing-wise. Now known as the A220 after Airbus purchased it to bypass the heavy tariffs that were imposed on it by the United States government, the aircraft currently holds 297 orders and flies for the likes of Delta Air Lines, Swiss Air Lines, Air Canada, airBaltic, and more.

Throughout the video, the developers provided previews of the engines spinning, wing flex, flap animations, and more. However, the developers provided an exclaimer, stating “as always she (the A220) is still very much a work in progress and rough around the edges in some respects with some anomalies still being worked on”

No information on a potential release date or pricing information was provided by the developer.
