It’s that time of the week, so it’s time for another edition of No Money Mondays! This week, we’re headed to the beautiful landscapes of central Brazil, specifically the capital, Brasília, to check out the amazing work of FSoares and his rendition of Brasília’s International Airport!

The first airport in Brasília commenced operations in 1955, during the city's initial developmental phase. At that time, the airport featured a rudimentary setup with a dirt runway and an improvised passenger terminal constructed from cob and adorned with leaves. Subsequently, the facility was relocated to its present site, and construction commenced in 1956. Initially, a wooden terminal was in place, but it underwent renovations in the early 1990s. In the mid-2010s, Brasília underwent extensive upgrades to its taxiways and terminals in preparation for major events such as the FIFA 2014 World Cup and the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics. Presently, Brasília International Airport caters to over 50 destinations within Brazil and globally, primarily served by LATAM Brazil and GOL.

FSoares version of Brasília International Airport boasts many features, including, but certainly not limited to:

  • Custom 3D models
  • Custom animated Jetways
  • Custom runway and taxi lights
  • Custom markings and ground pavement
  • Custom Aerial Image
  • Completely redone mesh
  • And more!
