Cremonasoft Updates Airbus A310 to v1.6.0

CremonaSoft's debut aircraft product, the A310, is nearing two years since release and has now received the fifth update in it's lifespan.

Version 1.6.0, released on Tuesday, fixes a number of bugs in the systems area, in addition to AviTab compatibility, engine fire and suppression systems and an assortment of other features.

In a short-spoken X-Plane.org Forum post, the developer makes just one comment to customers - "Please keep backups of any previous release that you may be using. Thanks for supporting us."

The feature list for version 1.6.0 is as follows:

  • Fixed plugin compatibility issues
  • Fixed error in fuel flow logic
  • Fixed title display error for TACT Speed mode on progress page
  • Fixed airway tracking bug
  • Fixed masking for ND Arc and Map display
  • Fixed stick shaker triggering in over-speed conditions
  • Fixed speed brake hardware command assignments
  • Fixed speed/mach crossover altitude synch
  • Fixed AIRAC data cycle compatibility issues
  • Changed default ND mode to MAP
  • Changed flight director to initialise 'ON' when starting with engines running
  • Added take-off V1, VR, V2 auto-fill upon runway and weights specification (displayed when slats extended)
  • Added fuel feed system
  • Added centre of gravity control computer
  • Added engine fire detection and suppression system
  • Added auto land warn test
  • Added detailed checklists for Xchecklist
  • Added AviTab compatible cockpit tablet
  • Added landing elevation selector
  • Added altitude alert system
  • Added airspeed index bugs to standby airspeed indicators
  • Expanded cold start system detail
  • Expanded ECAM warnings
  • Refined manual flight handling characteristics
  • Refined engine thrust characteristics
  • Refined yaw damper influence
  • Updated toggle type switches for more realistic interaction
  • Updated user manuals
  • Optimisations for frame rate
