FLY X Simulations Announces Zakynthos for X-Plane

February 17, 2021

FLY X Simulations has taken to their blog to announce their latest payware scenery to join their lineup. Zakynthos will be fourth payware scenery to be taken on by FLY X, joining their selection of existing sceneries, which are, Doncaster Sheffield, Rovaniemi and Fuerteventura Airports.

The developer stated that the scenery was “mostly complete”, and a release is planned for within the next few weeks. It was added that the only additions required in the scenery were a few “finishing touches” including ground clutter, dirt and damage and some vegetation additions.

The scenery is also set to feature extensive use of 4K PBR textures, animated airside and landside traffic, alongside an up to date apron layout (full feature list found below)

In line with FLY X’s latest payware product, Fuerteventura, a price of $19.99 has been set for Zakynthos when released.

FLY X Simulations started their developing career with many freeware airports, including Rovaniemi and Kittila in Finland. Their latest freeware airport was Lanzarote Airport, released back in August 2019, and features many of the same features found in their payware airports, for example, a full 3D terminal interior and full PBR ground textures.
