Gaya Simulations Previews Vienna Update for X-Plane

Following the release of version 1.2 of Vienna for Microsoft Flight Simulator and Prepar3D platforms at the start of the month, Gaya Simulations have shown off previews of the same update in X-Plane.

Taking to Facebook to share the news, with the developer having this to say.

"As promised, version 1.2 of Vienna for X-Plane is right around the corner too, featuring a bunch of fixes and some really good-looking feature-adding details as well."

A brief list of changes was also provided:

  • Added new buildings making the airport exactly as it's today.
  • Fixed the approach lights poles over the crossing taxiways.
  • Added custom orange and blue taxi-lines in the appropriate places.
  • Added interior for the North Pier.
  • The control tower now has new textures for day and night.
  • We're continuously listening to community feedback - so a large number of fixes that have been brought up to us have been implemented, with even more due soon.

Interestingly, the developer also chose this post to shed a bit of light on their commitments to both X-Plane and Prepar3D, saying that "We're still an X-Plane and a Prepar3D developer - we're still developing content for these platforms and we still support our great products. That will not change for the foreseeable future."

"Stay tuned for release!", they say.
