Following the announcement of TrueEarth Netherlands & England for X-Plane last week, John Venema, CEO of Orbx, has released a second preview trailer for TrueEarth England. The project is currently in alpha stage, with much of the Orbx spotlight to shift away from this, onto TrueEarth Netherlands for P3D/FSX.

On the Orbx forums, John Venema said;

Here is the second (and final) sneak preview trailer for Orbx EU England TrueEarth for XP11 before we turn our attention to the release of Netherlands TrueEarth for P3D.  This shows footage purely from the Midlands and south of England in the current alpha build. We plan on adding much more detail and features in the coming months, We won't be showing any more previews of this product until it is in beta testing a little while from now. I am sure Emmsie and JL will be serving up many screenshots and I will again ask Jarrad to do a detailed announcement topic once we are closer to release. For now though, enjoy these scenes ...

On an unrelated note, on the same forums thread, John later commented this;

LR need to remove tree self-shadowing and this has been given as feedback to them. This will improve the realism of the trees dramatically. There is potential to release TreesHD for XP11, we’re looking into it.
